MaBAC – Management of cultural assets and activities is a first-level dual Master’s Program jointly developed by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and ESCP Business School. It is designed to prepare professionals with the skills and expertise to conceive, manage, and develop cultural initiatives within a European and international context.

About the Program

Double experience: Study in both Venice and Paris, two of the world’s leading cultural capitals.
Double title: Earn a First-Level Master’s Program from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and a Master’s Program from ESCP Business School.
By gaining additional academic credits, students also have the opportunity to subsequently obtain a Master’s Degree (Laurea Magistrale) in Economics and Management of Arts and Cultural Activities (EGART) from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
International learning environment: Courses, practical projects, case studies, and meetings with academics and professionals from the cultural sector.
Internship and career advancement: A professionally oriented programme featuring internships, practical projects and dedicated career coaching.

The cultural sector today calls for professionals able to combine artistic sensibility, strategic vision, managerial skills, and the ability to engage with institutions, businesses, communities, and international audiences.
The MaBAC Master’s Program is designed to train professionals capable of contributing to the development of new cultural projects, models, and culture-driven business initiatives. Throughout the programme, students acquire practical tools to understand how cultural organisations operate, manage complex projects, enhance cultural products and activities, build partnerships, and work effectively in both national and international contexts.
Venice and Paris
Two cities, a unique international experience
The program takes place between Venice and Paris, two world-renowned cultural capitals.
The first semester takes place in Venice, at Ca’ Foscari University, from October 2026 to January 2027. The second semester is held in Paris, at ESCP Business School, from February to April 2027.
Studying in such different yet complementary cities offers the opportunity to engage with internationally relevant cultural, institutional, and professional ecosystems, while gaining insight into diverse approaches, markets, and networks.

The MaBAC Master’s Program is aimed at graduates who wish to work in the cultural heritage and cultural activities sector, developing a profile that combines cultural sensitivity, managerial skills, and an international outlook.
It is intended for those seeking to enter — or strengthen their position in — museums, foundations, galleries, theatres, festivals, auction houses, public institutions, creative industries, cultural organisations, and heritage-related projects.
Throughout the program, students learn to understand the cultural sector as a living ecosystem: shaped by content, audiences, strategies, financial sustainability, institutional relations, project design, and impact.
The aim is to help participants build a recognisable professional profile, capable of operating across management, communication, marketing, fundraising, project management, cultural production, and the development of both national and international initiatives.
Working in culture today means transforming ideas, heritage, and cultural languages into concrete, sustainable projects capable of engaging audiences worldwide.
MaBAC offers the opportunity to obtain, within a single pathway, two recognised qualifications: the First-Level Master’s Program from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and the qualification awarded by ESCP Business School.
In addition, by completing additional academic credits, students have the opportunity to obtain a Master’s Degree (Laurea Magistrale) in Economics and Management of Arts and Cultural Activities (EGART) at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
